April Pallette and Jeff Hicks, both UNCA Environmental Studies majors, and Jim Fox and Karin Lichtenstein, both staff at NEMAC, presented at the 18th Annual USDA Interagency Research Forum on Invasive Species in Annapolis, MD on January 9-12, 2007. The poster, titled "Exploring Ways to Serve your Science: Providing Forest Threat Information to a Variey of Audiences", is part of their work with the Eastern Forest Environmental Threat Assessment Center (EFETAC) project with the US Forest Service and NEMAC. The poster highlighted the students involvement in the development of advanced tools and technologies that support integrated environmental threat assessments.
